Notes: The provenance of the holotype was given generically as 'Vorderindien' in the original description (Verhoeff 1939 - Zool. Jahrb. Syst. 72: 79) and was tentatively recognised from Mauritius by Attems (1947 - Ann. naturhistor. Mus. Wien 55: 101).
