Notes: The type locality was not given in the original description, but it was most probably in Japan. Often considered as belonging to the genus Pleurogeophilus Verhoeff, 1901, but this is incorrect according to the original description. Recorded with doubt even from *** (Lignau, 1929 - Zoologischer Anzeiger, 85: 165).
