Notes: Considered a junior synonym of Arctogeophilus melanonotus (Wood, 1862) by Chamberlin (1912 - Pomona Journal of Entomology, 4(1): 661), but actually different from this latter species according to the original description. Firstly assigned to the genus Arctogeophilus Attems, 1909 by Kevan (1983 - Canadian Journal of Zoology, 61: 2946).
