Notes: Considered a junior synonym of Geophilus mordax Meinert, 1886 by Chamberlin (1912 - Bulletin of the Museum of Comparative Zoölogy, 54: 413) and subsequent authors, but actually different from this letter species according to the original description and original observation by Hoffman (1995 - Banisteria, 5: 24).
