Last taxonomic scrutiny: Würmli M. (1975). Revision der Hundertfüsser-Gattung Thereuonema (Chilopoda: Scutigeridae) - Entomologica Germanica , 2: 189-196, see p. 195.

Notes: The exact generic appurtenance of this species is uncertain. Würmli (1975) excluded T. erga from the revision of the genus, stating that it does not belong to genus Thereuonema.
