Distribution:

Notes: Kraepelin (1903 Mitt. naturhist. Mus. Hamburg 20:41) and Attems (1930 Tierreich, 54:237) considered validus a possible synonym of bottegii but Meinert’s description inadequate to reach a definite conclusion.
